We are seeking a highly motivated and commercially astute Business Development Executive to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a sales professional with a strong understanding of market dynamics and a proven track record in business development to make a meaningful impact.

As a Business Development Executive,you will be primarily focused on driving revenue growth by leading sales initiatives aligned with the companys annual business goals and strategic revenue plans. You will identify new business opportunities, cultivate strong client relationships, and enhance the companys market position by monitoring industry trends and competitor activities.

Explore your journey ahead

  • Support sales initiatives such as site inspections, client engagement, familiarizations and other events outlined in the sales and marketing action plan to help drive revenue across the hotel.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Leisure, Wholesale and Groups markets.
  • Grows existing business and establishes and pursues all leads to drive revenue into the hotel.
  • Develops strong working relationships with clients, suppliers and guests to help drive revenue through repeat business.
  • Create tailored proposals to meet client needs and exceed expectations.
  • Monitors existing business and inputs ideas into sales strategy meetings to maximize business.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Monitors competitors activities and assists in sharing marketing intelligence across all markets within New Zealand and Australia.
  • Achieve budget targets relative to all operational costs.

What we need from you

  • Must have hotel sales experience within New Zealand or Australia with a proven track record of success driving repeat business.
  • Good understanding of hotel systems and revenue management principles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A focus on excellence and an eye for detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and accountability for own decisions and actions.
