We are looking for two Screening and Enquiries Analysts in our Competition, Fair Trading and Credit branch. These are permanent, full-time roles based in our Te Whanganui-a-Tara (Wellington) office.
Mo te turanga | About the role
Our Screening and Enquiries Analyst role would suit someone who wants to grow or consolidate their analytical skills, is interested in working in a public sector regulatory environment or has a background in law/business/economics and is keen to kick-start a career in the public sector.
Working in our Screening & Enquires team, you will assess complaints received by the Commission against Fair Trading, Consumer Credit, and Competition laws. You will gather and assess facts, identify potential breaches of law, and provide clear, accurate written recommendations. Your work will directly impact on the Commissions regulatory and compliance role.
If you are someone who would like to develop a strong understanding of how a regulatory environment works and an understanding of the multiple avenues this skillset can be applied, then this is a great opportunity for you.
The indicative salary range for this role is $70,339 - $82,752 plus 3% KiwiSaver employer contribution. The successful candidate will be appointed at a salary which reflects their individual skills, experience, and internal relativities across the organisation.
