Were searching for a talented Property Manager to join our Format, Network Development & Property team in Aotearoa on a 12-month fixed-term contract starting ASAP. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.

What youll do

Were looking for a Property Manager to join our Format, Network Development & Property team here in Aotearoa reporting to our Portfolio Manager, on a 12month fixed term contract basis. Joining our team youll take accountability for managing our Zone 1 Landlord portfolio consisting of 60+ stores across New Zealand.

In this role you will:

• Deliver key business outcomes including delivery of the property network plan, and meeting business objectives for renewals, tenure, occupancy costs, convenience and customer amenities in accordance with Woolworths NZs Customer 1st, Team 1st strategy and overarching Property framework.
• Develop and execute property strategies in partnership with the Portfolio Manager and other key business stakeholders (internal and external) to ensure that our Property network delivers exceptional results across the business.
• Build, manage and enhance relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure property requirements are well understood, with a significant focus on ‘end-to-end solutions.
• Be responsible for board reporting to seek capital for new stores and renewal projects.
Negotiate new leasehold site acquisitions, and lease transactions relating to the Landlord portfolio.

About You | Mōu

To succeed in this role ideally you will have 5+ years experience in a commercial property role and a tertiary qualification in property. You will have a good understanding of commercial leases, and proven experience managing a portfolio of properties. With strong business and financial acumen, youll bring excellent influencing and negotiation skills with the ability to engage, build and maintain key stakeholder relationships.

Your proven ability to prioritise and tactically manage a wide range of commercial property initiatives will be essential in the role, as will your ability to balance commercial outcomes aligned with our Ways of Working.
