About the opportunity | Te whai waahi As the Programme Specialist you will play a crucial role and provide support to the GHSW team by undertaking program co-ordination and in some cases project delivery, to ensure the success of the GHSW strategic program of work and our goal of ‘safe work, thriving people. Throughout the project lifecycle, from scoping to transition to business as usual (BAU), you will perform a variety of support tasks. These include ensuring project governance, status and risk reporting, and adherence to standards. Other tasks involve financial tracking, providing progress reports and updates, purchase and work order management, and other administrative duties. This role will report into the HSW Change & Planning Manager. Other key tasks include:
  • Take ownership for the definition, documentation and successful completion of complex projects.
  • Conduct project status report meetings with key stakeholders and address any issues that arise.
  • Financial management using Clarity/ARI PPM where appropriate.
  • Actioning purchase order requests, ensuring the correct documentation is provided.
  • Prepare monthly capex accruals journals as required.
  • Project delivery of certain key strategic GHSW projects.
  • Assist in maintaining the programme delivery pages in our GHSW sharepoint sites as directed, including control of documents in our shared document folder.
About you | Moe koe You will have a minimum of 5 years experience in a relevant role. If you have experience with project management frameworks such as Agile or Waterfall this will be beneficial and really set you up for success. You will be competent across the MS Office suite of programmes (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Teams, Sharepoint and project). This role is in an ever-changing environment, so you will be flexible and willing to learn, and your maturity will ensure you remain calm under pressure.
