We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our great team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting structural steel components to and from construction sites throughout New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate heavy trucks and trailers carrying structural steel components
• Load and unload steel components using appropriate techniques and equipment
• Plan and execute efficient delivery routes
• Adhere to all road transport regulations and safety standards
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain accurate logbooks
• Ensure the safe and secure transportation of all loads
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel
• Maintain a clean and well-maintained truck

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current Class 5 (or higher) New Zealand Drivers License with a clean driving record
• Proven experience driving heavy trucks and trailers (minimum [number] years)
• Experience transporting heavy and oversized loads (preferred)
• Knowledge of road transport regulations and safety standards
• Excellent driving skills and a strong safety record
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physically fit and able to perform demanding physical labor
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift

Work Location: In person
