Nga kawenga | About the role

Our team of five has an additional full-time fixed term Recruitment Coordinator position available until 30 June 2025. This role provides recruitment support to the Department of Corrections across the South Island. You will be based in Christchurch supporting our Recruitment Advisors.

The work includes;

  • Liaising with and supporting candidates through their application journey
  • Booking interviews or assessment centres
  • Keeping our records and systems up to date
  • Organising & managing all pre-employment checks

Ideally you will have recruitment experience or be a skilled administrator who has worked in a high-volume space and is looking for something extra special in their day-to-day work.

You are known for your organisational skills and your ability to communicate both verbally and written will be strong.

We will empower you to make this role your own, all that we ask is that you are able to demonstrate the following:

  • High attention to detail - process is your thing.
  • Awesome prioritisation and time management skills.
  • Confident in a front facing role - you will be working directly with internal managers, candidates & helping at assessment centres.

You are an enthstic, energised team-player who can show an understanding (or an openness to developing an understanding) of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its application to the work of government departments.

Utu a-tau | Salary

The mid point of the salary range is $67,988 and the full range (85%-120%) is $57,824 - $81,586. Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
