Are you a Data Savant? Citycare Property is on the lookout for a talented Data Engineer who knows how to look through the mass of raw data to see the patterns, trends and grouping that lie within. If youre passionate about making a real impact and enjoy the sound data transforming as it whistles through the medallion pipeline (IFKYK), you might just be the one were looking for. As a key member of our tīma (team), youll design clever data models, streamline processes, and build the tools that make decision-making a breeze.

Based in Ōtautahi (Christchurch), youll be tackling everything from building smooth ETL dataflows and keeping data top-notch, to supporting business analysts and ensuring our data is protected and stays secure. Youll collaborate with business units, helping them to leverage their data for maximum value for both our business and our customers.

What Were Hoping Youve Got (Moe Koe)

• Experience in data engineering - building ETL pipelines is kind of your thing.
• SQL proficiency - youve got enough SQL skills to make even the most complex queries feel like a walk in the park.
• Cloud infrastructure and DevOps - if "cloud" makes you think more about servers than the weather, youll fit right in.
• Hands-on experience with APIs and integrations - because lets be real, who doesnt love a good API challenge?
• Scripting skills - Python, Bash, and maybe even some .NET (VB, C#) or Java - you know the drill.
• Problem-solving skills - like a digital detective, solving tech mysteries and keeping everything running smoothly.
