About the City Operations Team:

We are currently on the lookout for an experienced Mowing & Edging Operator to join our Owens Place based Mowing Team.

The mahi in this role includes operating an out-front ride on mower, edging and weed eating. Typically, you will be working as part of a pair so half of your time will be spent on the weed eater and edger. This is a role where you must be a team player and must take real pride in your work.

• Hours are Monday to Friday 7am to 3.30pm (40 hour per week)
• Full uniform, PPE, wet weather gear, and work boots are provided

What youll need to succeed in the City Operations Team:

• Be reliable, honest and hardworking
• Relevant experience ideally in mowing and/or operating tractors, edging and weed eating
• Relevant qualifications such as Open Space Mowing, Wheels, Tracks and Rollers, Traffic Management and First Aid are preferred but full training can be organised for the right candidate/s
• Tech savvy, with the ability to use a mobile phone and learn our workflow app
• A positive attitude and a willingness to listen and learn
• A full clean NZ drivers licence
• The ability to follow and implement Health and Safety guidelines
• Be physically fit and able to work outdoors on your feet all day
• Good communication and customer service skills - youll need to be an ambassador for TCC and comfortable answering the communities enquires while out on the job
