We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Operator to join our dynamic distribution team based in Otahuhu, Auckland. Within your role you will manage inbound shipments, picking & dispatching of goods from the finished goods distribution centre to our external customers.

How can you Unearth the Possibilities with Nufarm?

Ensuring a safe and efficient operation with the goal of zero incidents

Work closely with a high functioning small team to manage the warehouse. This involves independently leading casual members.

Picking and Packing of various items in a fast paced environment while maintaining accuracy and quality

Loading and unloading of delivery vehicles and containers, primarily with a Forklift/Reach and transfer as per MPI standards

Picking / Packing and Goods Receipt into the ERP system

Day to day cleaning and maintenance of the warehouse and associated equipment

Prior exposure to chemical handling and safe warehouse operations.

Exposure to using warehousing software such as JD Edwards, Excel with intermediate computer skills

Support the delivery of supply chain continuous improvement projects as required

What do you bring?

To be successful in this role you will have worked a stores/warehousing environment, operating reach fork lifts, pick packing and goods receiving with a passion for delivering service and quality at all times.

We are seeking a candidate with strong initiative and the ability to lead the warehouse at times in a sole capacity, previous Microsoft/warehousing IT skills who will take ownership of their role in the warehouse, a real team player and maintain a safe work area and looking to join the thriving industry of agriculture!
