About the role
The Advisor to the Deputy Chief Executive (DCE) Reviews and System Capability plays a critical role in providing high-level advisory and administrative support, managing schedules, facilitating communication, and ensuring the efficient operation of the business group.
The Reviews and System Capability groups core functions are to:
- Uplift regulatory system capability using a variety of interventions and mechanisms, and
- Improve regulation and regulatory systems by undertaking targeted reviews of varying scope and scale.
The Advisor will serve as the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders contacting the DCE and will contribute to the overall success of the DCEs initiatives.
To be successful in this role, the Advisor must have a positive, can-do attitude, acting as a key liaison between the DCE and various stakeholders. They will ensure seamless communication, assist in executing high-priority initiatives, and provide administrative, advisory and organisational support to the DCE.
The Advisors specific responsibilities and focus will evolve over time to align with the Ministrys and the Minister for Regulations changing priorities.
About you
- Exceptional organisational, multi-tasking and adaptability skills, with the ability to manage complex schedules and prioritise tasks effectively
- Experience building and maintaining positive relationships and handling interactions with tact and diplomacy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in drafting and proofreading correspondence, reports/briefings and presentations
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to anticipate needs and proactively address issues
- Previous experience in advising and supporting senior individuals
- Excellent understanding of the suite of Microsoft products

Salary range $79,078 - $104,887 with appointment salary dependent on skills and experience.
