Our Client has recently acquired and successfully integrated a New Zealand firm with its own Internationally recognised Specialists - a Global leader in all aspects of Corporate Accounting. This strategic acquisition allows for a broad expansion and enhanced opportunities both regionally and globally, and due to sustained growth within the Auckland offices, there is now an opportunity for an experienced and qualified BAS Manager to join the team.

This key role requires a CA or CPA qualified professional with at least 5 or 6 years BAS experience in a New Zealand CA firm - preferably with a larger CA firm.

To lead the team, you will need the following experience and attributes

·      Extensive experience with, and understanding of NZ tax compliance

·      Excellent systems skills and the ability to advise clients on accounting software and systems issues

·      Sound NZ CA experience with financial and management reporting

·      Highly developed ability to review and with workflow and team management skills

·      Some previous exposure to value-add assignments

·      Outstanding client relationship building skills

This position offers an above market remuneration package which includes a generous base salary plus Kiwi Saver and parking. The firm is centrally located South East on the City Fringe.

In addition to this you will have the opportunity to work 4 days in the office and 1 day from home - either Tuesday or Thursday. You will also be part of a social team with various events, Friday drinks and more. 

Benefits

$130K pa to $180K pa plus KS plus car park depending on experience

Firm is not in the CBD so less of a commute for most people.
