The Opportunity Were looking for a full-time Business Support Administrator to join our dedicated team at AsureQuality in Gracefield, Lower Hutt. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with solid administration experience who thrives on structure, enjoys both team interaction and independent work, and is always looking to learn and improve.

Working closely with our Specialty Testing Team, this varied role supports both office and laboratory environments — no two days are the same, and your contribution will be valued every step of the way.

What Youll Be Doing:

  • Handling day-to-day admin tasks such as organising travel, booking meetings, coordinating events, and keeping things running smoothly
  • Supporting laboratory operations through tasks like archiving documents and managing stock and supplies
  • Maintaining clean, well-stocked communal areas like the cafeteria and admin zones
  • Organising team meetings (both in-person and online), catering and preparing internal newsletters
  • Ordering office, lab consumables and storing them away

Collaborating in a small, supportive admin team where responsibilities are shared

This is a full-time, onsite role working Monday to Friday at our office in Gracefield, Lower Hutt.

What Were Looking For: Youll bring a strong administration background with excellent communication skills, and a natural ability to keep things organised and running efficiently. Youre someone who:

  • Enjoys building positive working relationships with staff, contractors, and customers
  • Is self-motivated, with a proactive approach and a love of ticking things off the to-do list
  • Enjoys both collaborating with others and working independently
  • Appreciates the value of good systems and processes, and takes pride in maintaining them
  • Has an eye for detail and a strong sense of ownership over your work
  • Is IT savvy, with intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft 365, confidence using databases and creating/maintaining professional documents
  • Can follow instructions well, but also bring forward suggestions to improve how things are done
