About the Role
We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused Receptionist/Administrator to join our Administration Team on a casual basis. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest experiences and assisting with administrative tasks.
The main duties of the role are:
- Greet clients and visitors with warmth and professionalism.
- Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual.
- Manage bookings for meetings, conference rooms, and client appointments
- Oversight of the reception area, ensuring a welcoming, safe environment
- Assist with general office tasks: handle phone calls, emails, and inquiries, ensuring prompt and courteous responses.
- Data entry and record keeping: Maintain accurate records, update databases, and organise files.
- Support team members: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve service goals.
- Ad hoc administrative duties: Assist with special projects and tasks as required

Health NZ Waitematā is the largest mental health provider in NZ with services for children, adult and older adult, Māori and Pacific as well as operating regional services of forensic psychiatry and addictions. About you
To be successful in this role, you will possess the following skills and attributes:
- Experience: Previous administration experience preferred but not essential.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to Detail: Accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks.
- Adaptability: Ability to handle changing priorities and multitask effectively.
- Positive attitude
