Commercial Cleaner

As a commercial cleaning company, we operate after hours usually, so applicants must be committed to working evenings and weekends. As our business is growing rapidly, you may need to work additional hours when required.

This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for growth. Experience in cleaning is preferred, at least one year of relevant experience or NZQF Level 2 or 3 qualification.

Responsibilities:

• Clean, stock, and maintain designated areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning, etc.)

• Perform and document routine inspections and maintenance activities

• Complete a full deep-clean once a week as outlined in the customers contract

• Notify management of any deficiencies or necessary repairs

• Change cleaning towels between sites to prevent bacteria spread

• Stock and organize supply rooms

• Follow all health and safety regulations

• Keep client keys and codes secure and confidential

• Remove Mold from walls and doors

• Clean glass windows, kitchen appliances, and office pantries as required

• Shampoo carpets and perform exterior building washes as needed

• Maintain a clean and organized cleaning vehicle

• Refill chemical bottles with correct dilution levels daily

• Clean vacuum cleaners and other equipment at the end of each shift
