Communications Advisor

Te Haeata/The Opportunity

The Ministry of Justice Te Tāhū o te Ture is seeking a Communications Advisor for 6 months on a Fixed Term basis to deliver end-to-end communication services across the Ministry. An immediate start would be ideal!

As a Communications Advisor, youll play a key role in supporting communications activities across the Ministry, including:

• developing and implementing communications plans for various projects
• managing the communications inbox
• coordinating and distributing various newsletters
• drafting content for a variety of channels
• web and intranet publishing.

Ō pūkenga |Skills and Experience

Reporting to the Manager Communications Delivery, in the Communications and Ministerial Services team, the successful candidate will have:

• previous experience in a similar role
• strong writing skills and the ability to turn complex information into accessible content
• excellent organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks
• a collaborative approach and a passion for public sector communications
• an understanding of communicating diverse audiences
• a can-do attitude and desire to learn.

Utu ā-tau | Salary

The salary range for this role is $73,634 to $100,846 depending on skills and experience.
