We are looking for three experienced cooks for our food manufacturing unit in Auckland.
Job Description:
- Preparation, seasoning and cooking of food
- Portioning food and adding dressings to ensure excellent presentation
- Able to meet any special dietary requirements
- Cooking all authentic Indian curries, Tandoori dishes, Traditional Sweets, and Snacks
- Monitoring the quality of dishes from basic preparation through to service to customers.
- Regulating temperature controlled cooking equipments
- Labelling and storing of all produce in the chiller
- May train kitchen staff
- Minimising waste and maintaining kitchen cleanliness
- Maintaining the kitchen to excellent hygiene standards in accordance with ‘Hygiene Certification requirements .
- Maintaining personal hygiene and upholding high standards of health and safety

Duration: Permanent
Pay: Minimum $24.00 and maximum $30.00
Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week guaranteed
Willing to work on weekends and Public holidays (Working days will be between Monday and Sunday)
