Are you a highly organised and proactive professional with a passion for supporting dynamic leaders in a fast-paced environment? Auckland University of Technology is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to provide exceptional support to our Chief Marketing Officer, with a particular emphasis on communications and cultural competency.
As the Executive Assistant, you will be the right-hand person to our Chief Marketing Officer, ensuring the seamless functioning of their office while playing a vital role in enhancing communication strategies. You will also support 3 Directors within the Brand and Marketing Division.
Brand & Marketing Services works with an integrated approach, characterised by staff who are subject matter experts, passionate and enthusiastic for what they do and how they do it. The Division is committed to partnering with other University business units to develop and evolve strategies to improve AUTs brand and marketing efforts, and as a result achieve the Universities strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Calendar Management: Efficiently manage the CMOs schedule, ensuring strategic prioritisation of meetings and events.
- Communication: Support the planning and execution of internal and external communications, including drafting emails, memos, and reports.
- Play a pivotal advisory role in Tikanga Māori and use Te Reo in Brand and Marketing communications.
- Act as a liaison between the CMO and various internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication channels.
- Assist in the coordination and execution of projects, providing administrative support to ensure successful implementation.
- Maintain accurate and organized records, including confidential information and sensitive communications.
Qualifications:
- Relevant experience as an Executive assistant, preferably in a marketing, brand, or communications environment.
- Understanding of Te Ao Māori, Tikanga Māori and Māturanga Māori
- Exceptional organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant tools.
- Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information

Salary Range: $59,000 - $78,000 per annum (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Job Reference: $73,000 - $100,000 per annum (dependent on experience and qualifications)
