Faculty Engagement Lead

Āu Mahi | What You Will Do As Faculty Engagement Lead you will be a strategic and collaborative leader with a passion for innovation in educational technologies. You will be a key connection between UC Online and our Academic Faculties, leading engagement efforts that shape the future of online and blended learning at UC. Your track record of supporting and influencing leaders and staff will ensure programmes are pedagogically sound, compliant, and high quality. You will crucially lead documentation and evaluation frameworks to manage quality assurance processes and play a central role in supporting innovation and continuous improvement.
Mōu | Who You Are To be successful in this role you will have experience in a similar role working with academics and academic leaders to position online curriculum priorities, as well as have:
- project management, stakeholder management and change management skills
- experience leading teams including coaching, goal setting and capability building
- strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to consult, collaborate, and communicate with academic leaders and staff to co-design
- understanding of academic regulations, quality assurance, and accreditation processes
- strong intrapersonal skills including excellent verbal and written communication
- experience producing clear, accurate documentation for operational purposes
- ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, evolving environments
- a commitment to inclusive, values-led practice and a willingness to uphold te ao Māori principles and Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
Mahi Ngātahi | Who You Will Work With UCs Office of Future Learning and Development partners with academic staff to positively impact the quality of teaching and learning using educational technologies.
