Stand at the stern of the canoe and feel the spray of the future biting at your face Mō te tūnga | About the role As a District Services Engineer you will be responsible for providing 24/7 field support across a wide range of critical Police infrastructure including radio, telephony and computer networks. Supporting our digital and analogue radio networks is a critical component of this role and as such, skills and experience in maintaining radio infrastructure and radio console dispatch systems is highly desirable. The successful applicant will be required to regularly be on call as well as being available to travel away from home on an as needed basis to support the wider team. Must have a recognised tertiary qualification in telecommunications/IT, OR relevant experience. Competent and qualified or willing to train for working at height. Ideally be 4WD qualified with a full drivers licence. Ideally hold a current Electrical Appliance Service Practicing License. Prepared to be on call.
