The Role

Were seeking an experienced and proactive ICT Support Technician to join our growing team. You will be the first point of contact for all technical support within the organization and our exam centre. This includes managing Tier 1 and Tier 2 incidents, supporting exam delivery software and devices, ensuring uptime of secure testing environments, and helping staff and trainers with hardware, software, and digital platform access. It also includes managing of IT and network systems.

Your role is critical to ensuring operational integrity and candidate experience — particularly during live testing and training sessions.

What Youll Be Doing

  • Providing on-site troubleshooting and tech support for laptops, desktops, IP cameras, printers, biometric devices, and networking equipment.
  • Maintaining and configuring exam delivery platforms (Pearson VUE, ETS and Kryterion).
  • Supporting installation, maintenance, and upgrades of hardware/software across admin and testing zones.
  • Monitoring and managing system performance to ensure 100% uptime during exam sessions.
  • Handling user onboarding/offboarding and supporting staff with account setups, especially for Microsoft 365, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Managing Microsoft 365 procurement, licensing, and end-user support.
  • Supporting IT compliance requirements, including secure access, data privacy, and audit readiness for exam partner policies.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams during infrastructure changes, audits, or digital learning tool deployments.
  • Maintaining accurate logs of service requests, incidents, and resolutions.

About You

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support,
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g., Diploma or Bachelors in IT)
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows OS, printers, and basic networking.
  • Familiarity with remote monitoring tools, secure exam delivery software, and access control systems.
  • Clear communicator with strong interpersonal skills and a customer-service mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple support requests calmly and professionally — especially under pressure.
  • A team player with a problem-solving attitude and eagerness to learn new technologies.
