We are offering four internships for University students in their second to last, or final year of study in the Public Transport and Active Modes Directorate. Youll join us for one day a week (this can be any day) at our stunning Auckland Viaduct offices from June 2025 until December 2025.

This is an amazing opportunity for university students studying Engineering (All fields), Business and Commerce, Planning/Logistics and Urban Planning, Finance, Logistics, Management, or Analytics with an interest in Public Transport.

What will you do during your internship?

You will be involved in various tasks and projects that will stimulate your thinking and problem-solving skills in a fast-moving Directorate responsible for enabling the travel needs of Auckland and its visitors.

• Public Transport Services Planning and Development
• Public Transport Operations
• Active Modes

• Students in their 3rd or 4th year studying Engineering (All), Business and Commerce, Planning/Logistics and Urban Planning, Finance, Logistics, Management, or Analytics
• A desire to work in Public Transport or Local Government
• Must be a permanent resident or NZ citizen
