Our Opportunity:

We have recently opened a new state of the art fisheries processing site in Porirua and are looking to grow our Ika factory team.

We have 1 permanent, full-time Inwards Process Worker role available.

As an integral member of our factory team, you will be responsible for managing chilled and frozen productions from reception to processing and storage and sales within our Wellington operations.

Key responsibilities:

• Ensure efficient receipt of goods and service to customers
• Stock management and rotation
• Liaising with Food Service Operations Manager and factory team to ensure efficient handling of product and all processes and documentation is completed, accurate and valid
• Ensure product quality and safety throughout each stage of the operations
• Compliance to all Health & Safety, Food Safety and Fishing Industry Regulations

What You Will Bring:

You will be known for having a strong attention to detail, be highly organised and motivated and able to build positive and credible working relationships with your manager, team, and colleagues.

Previous experience in inwards good is preferred, you will require a valid forklift license, excellent numeracy and literacy skills, and computer literacy. Proactive, you will thrive on managing conflicting priorities and deadlines and enjoy being in a role where you can add value.
