Āu Mahi | What You Will Do As a Logistics Assistant, you will provide effective and efficient logistical assistance to all colleges and departments. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with the delivery, relocation, storage and installation of furniture.
  • Ensuring all goods held in the Warehouse/Mailroom are accurately recorded and are handled and stored in a safe and secure manner.
  • Providing operational support for university events and ceremonies.
  • Assisting with organising and maintaining furniture storage areas to ensure accessibility and safety.

Mōu | Who You Are You will be an experienced logistics professional with at least 2 years experience in distribution services and/or furniture and warehouse management. You will also have:

  • A clean and current NZ Drivers Licence.
  • The ability to perform the physical aspects of the role.
  • Experience using hand tools for basic furniture assembly.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations (desirable).
  • An active commitment to UC values and cultural practices.

Mahi Ngātahi | Who You Will Work With Reporting to the Furniture and Distributions Coordinator. you will also liaise with internal staff, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth logistical operations.
