As Lunch Supervisor, you are responsible for looking after kids (up to 16) who come to MindPlus, 1-2pm, Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, three hours per week, during school terms only. Its a casual role but wed like someone who can commit to the year if possible. This role is based at MindPlus, Grey Lynn School, Grey Lynn.

As Lunch Supervisor you will:

• make sure kids remember to eat and drink (then put their lunch boxes and drink bottles away)

• take them outside for a play (and keep track of them)

• bring them back inside and encourage them to play quietly - you might get out some board games or books, and maybe you play too

• let our class teacher know if there are any issues (urgent or otherwise), including any first aid things

• have a general tidy up

You will need to be warm, calm and caring, and enjoy spending time with our quirky kids. You will need to be police vetted (we will arrange this for the successful candidate).
