Mō te Tūranga | About the Role We sat down with our Head of Financial Markets Oversight, BNZ who let us know the following about the role: What are some of the key focus areas for this opportunity?
- Responsible for ensuring Markets compliance with relevant regulatory requirements including NAB Group / APRA obligations CPS 226 Margining and Risk Mitigation and APS 116 Capital Adequacy: Market Risk.
- Perform Markets Risk Oversight activities:
- Monitoring and reporting of risk exposures against approved limits.
- Escalation of breaches / issues to the Head of Markets Oversight, GM Markets and Treasury Risk, and Group Senior Management if applicable
- Minimum of 5-10 years experience in a C&IB / Markets, Treasury, Compliance, or broader Risk Management function.
- Sound knowledge of Regulatory standards and Compliance requirements, including industry best practice.
- Strong numerate skills, attention to detail, thoroughness and timeliness.
- Excellent relationship management skills.
