Mō te Tūranga | About the Role We sat down with our Head of Financial Markets Oversight, BNZ who let us know the following about the role: What are some of the key focus areas for this opportunity?

• Responsible for ensuring Markets compliance with relevant regulatory requirements including NAB Group / APRA obligations CPS 226 Margining and Risk Mitigation and APS 116 Capital Adequacy: Market Risk.
• Perform Markets Risk Oversight activities:
• Monitoring and reporting of risk exposures against approved limits.
• Escalation of breaches / issues to the Head of Markets Oversight, GM Markets and Treasury Risk, and Group Senior Management if applicable

What is the most exciting thing about this opportunity? The role is critical to support the responsible Head of Markets Oversight and accountable GM, Markets and Treasury Risk in providing appropriate oversight of Markets Risk Management Activities. In particular, ensuring Markets compliance with NAB Group / APRA requirements! What attributes will this person display in order to be successful in this role?

• Minimum of 5-10 years experience in a C&IB / Markets, Treasury, Compliance, or broader Risk Management function.
• Sound knowledge of Regulatory standards and Compliance requirements, including industry best practice.
• Strong numerate skills, attention to detail, thoroughness and timeliness.
• Excellent relationship management skills.
