We have an excellent opportunity to join our team at Healthvision. Our payroll team is expanding, and we are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced, committed and highly organised Payroll Administrator to join our fast-paced and supportive Finance and Payroll team.
About the role:
As a Payroll Administrator, youll play a key role in ensuring our weekly payroll runs smoothly and accurately across all Healthvision offices.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and is confident in managing complex payroll systems. A solid understanding of New Zealands Holidays Act and Privacy legislation is essential.
This is a permanent full-time (40 hrs) position based in our Head Office (Greenlane, Auckland).
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing weekly timesheets within a set timeframe for all offices and in line with established guidelines
- Filing PAYE and other IRD returns
- Administering KiwiSaver and compiling reports as required
- Responding to payroll queries, including leave and entitlements
- Ensuring all employee master data in payroll systems is accurately maintained
- Identifying and reporting any issues or errors related to the timesheet process
- Updating paper and electronic payroll records by entering adjustments for any contract variations
- Investigating and resolving payroll discrepancies using sound analysis
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 2 years experience with accounting systems and/or New Zealand payroll systems
- Proven experience in processing, clarifying, and transferring timesheet data; preparing pay runs from timesheets; and checking all data entry
- Some technical knowledge and interest/ability to work with IT platforms and the latest cloud-based solutions
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills - ability to develop and work with Excel modelling to assist with process improvement and data accuracy
- Ability to plan, set priorities, and maintain performance under pressure
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to take initiative and make decisions in a mature manner
- High levels of integrity and confidentiality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to quickly build and establish relationships
- Entitled to work legally and permanently in New Zealand
