Production Manager needed for Food Factory

We are a top manufacturer of noodle, snack and other pastry food. Our products are supplied to various supermarket and restaurants. We now need one production manager to help us to provide top-quality food. This is a full-time job with guaranteed hours of 30 hours per week. The hourly rate range is from $38 to $40.

The job involves the following tasks and duties:

• Developing, implementing, and overseeing food production strategies, policies, and plans to ensure efficiency, safety, and quality compliance.

• Planning production activities, including output targets, quality standards, cost control, production timelines, and staffing requirements.

• Managing daily operations by scheduling equipment maintenance, setting production schedules, and ensuring the availability of ingredients, packaging, and tools.

• Monitoring food production output and costs, making process adjustments to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

• Collaborating with other departments, such as quality assurance, procurement, and logistics, to ensure smooth production flow.

• Supervising the acquisition and installation of new food processing equipment and technology to improve productivity and maintain industry standards.

• Researching and implementing innovative food production techniques, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and improving product quality.

• Overseeing documentation and reporting of production processes, ensuring adherence to food safety and industry standards (e.g., HACCP, MPI, FDA compliance).

• Ensuring strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and occupational health and safety regulations to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.

• Managing and supervising production staff, monitoring performance, and providing training to enhance efficiency and product consistency.

To qualify for the job, you should have at least three years of work experience in management roles or a diploma or above in a management-related qualification. You should also have a can-do attitude and be able to work under pressure since our factory is extremely busy. You should also have good interpersonal skills to coordinate duties in the factory, since most of our staff speak Mandarin or Cantonese, it is better if you can speak this language to communicate well with our staff.
