Mō te tūnga | About the role

The purpose of the Commissioning and Investment group is to deliver a strong, sustainable and robust Commissioning and Investment strategy. This includes but is not limited to a commissioning framework, approach, standards, common terms and conditions so that our accredited network of providers have clear performance and outcome expectations. The Commissioning and Investment Group is responsible for the management of provider accreditation and assurance of delivery against the National Care Standards. 

The Programme Coordinators role is to support the successful delivery of change initiatives within Commissioning and Investment through the provision of programme coordination and administration duties for programmes/projects. The Programme Coordinator works closely with the programme team and this role is responsible for providing programme, project, logistical and general coordination support to an in-flight programme/project as well as organising and coordinating events specifically related to this programme.

Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu | What you will bring

Key requirements of the role include: 

  • Demonstrated experience in supporting Project Manager/Project Team in a large-scale project, ideally at least 2 years experience
  • Experience in maintaining programme/project plans and programme/project finances
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas to a variety of audiences and build and maintain rapport with others
  • Working knowledge of Prince2 and Agile methodologies
  • Experience in producing effective presentations, status reports and other project artefacts
  • Effective time management skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Understanding and appreciation of cross-cultural practices in particular; knowledge of tikanga Māori, and Pacific peoples culture
