Were on the lookout for a proactive and highly organised Project Coordinator to join our small but mighty project coordinator practice. With planning underway to support New Zealands General Elections, this is your opportunity to be right at the heart of meaningful, high impact work.
As a member of the Project Management Office, youll play a vital role in keeping our projects running smoothly - from coordinating moving parts and managing deadlines to supporting your project manager to make sure nothing slips through the cracks. If you thrive under pressure, love working across teams and have experience in fast paced environments, we want to hear from you.
This is a 2-year fixed term role salary is $75,377 - $83,752.
Mōhou ake | About you
You will be an enthusiastic team player with demonstrated success in coordination of projects and experience supporting project managers across multiple projects. You will enjoy variety in your work and be a self-starter who uses their initiative and pays close attention to detail.
Were looking for someone who brings:
- A background in project coordination or project administration
- Strong attention to detail, with excellent time management and multitasking skills
- A confident communicator who can build relationships across all levels
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to adapt and stay calm under pressure
- Strong proficiency across Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word and PowerPoint. Familiarity with project management tools (e.g. Microsoft Project, PSODA) is an advantage.

You will be responsible for:
- Supporting project planning, scheduling, and tracking of tasks and deliverables.
- Coordinating meetings, workshops, and project communications.
- Maintaining project documentation, reports, and registers (e.g., risks, issues, and actions).
- Manage project content and collaboration spaces using Confluence.
- Monitoring project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Liaising with internal teams, vendors, and partners to ensure clear communication.
- Helping to identify and manage project risks and dependencies.
- Proactively suggesting process improvements and better ways of working.
