Retail Account Manager

Danske Mobleris a prominent New Zealand furniture company established in the 1960s, gaining popularity for its stylish, moderately priced designs. Its first major retail presence opened in 1964 in Aucklands 246 Mall, quickly positioning the brand as a leader in aesthetic furniture. Continued growth led to the launch of its own outdoor furniture brand, Eden, in 1998, achieving success both locally and internationally. Company has played a key role in furnishing New Zealand homes with original, design-led furniture.

We are looking for a Retail Account Manager to join our company in Auckland who will perform the below tasks and duties, but not limited to the following:

1. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients

2. Manage a portfolio of accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention

3. Develop Sales Plan and commercial strategies to encourage your clients to buy new products from the company

4. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts, and contribute to overall sales goals

5. Identifying upsells, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities

6. Attend to “Showroom Checklist” on a daily basis

7. Liaise with Customer Services regarding deliveries and help load customer orders in the customers vehicle.

8. Establish customer needs, whether in-store or on-site, with relevant questions and information

9. Stay up to date with relevant product knowledge by attending regular manufacturer and supplier product knowledge training sessions

10. Any other duties as directed by the management.

You are required to work a fixed 35 hours per week and will be paid an annual package of between $55K and $60K, subject to skills and knowledge.

*Commissions are in addition to the base rate

Requirements for the role:

• Relevant work experience of 2 years

• Available to work on weekends

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to manage the work and interact with customers

• Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

• Able to remain calm in a difficult situation

• Hardworking and passionate individual

• Attention to detail and Multi-Tasker

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
