Join us as a Senior Contracting Foreperson in Christchurch! As a senior foreperson in our Contracting team, you will lead a crew to deliver work safety, on time and to the highest quality standard. You will be responsible for running the day-to-day operations, including the coordination of all employees, plant resources and subcontract personnel in your area of control. In addition to the above you will:

• Ensure your team adheres to all Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• Coordinate, plan, and organise plant, labour and subcontractors to ensure the effective delivery of projects.
• Operate a wide range of plant and equipment to help deliver infrastructure projects across Canterbury.
• Maximise daily productivity of your team while ensuring a high quality of work.
• Foster a safe work environment by educating site workers on construction safety regulations and emergency procedures.

• A Minimum of 5 years experience in the contracting/infrastructure industry.
• Full clean class 2 licence and WTR endorsements.
• The ability to operate a wide range of contracting plant and equipment to a high standard.
• Experienced in pavement structures, including final trim grader operation.
• Knowledge of UTS and Trimble tools.
• Working knowledge of Inspection and Test plans (ITPs)
• Outstanding leadership skills, with proven experience supervising and leading large crews.
• A strong focus on safety, quality and our environment.
• The ability to communicate clear expectations to your team and suppliers, maintaining a strong client focus.
• A passion for upskilling and developing teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
