Supervisor

We are looking for a Supervisor for our company based in the Bay of Plenty region, who may be required to travel within the same region and perform the below tasks:

• Manage the team at the farm and ensure to cover all aspects of the job requirements. This will include all types of workers.

• Assist the management in running the farm operations as per the budget ensuring maximize efficiency & productivity.

• Ensure that seasonal horticultural activities lead to a successful and top-quality product every year.

• Effectively managing and leading staff through compliance with company policies and procedures.

• Assist the management in training and leading staff during seasonal activities

• Record and submit the timesheets for staff and manage working hours.

• Assist in planning and prioritising workloads

• Review staff performance and provide feedback to the management.

• Communicate with the Director to ensure that the work of the highest quality is performed each day.

• Ensure work is done as per compliance meeting health and safety standards.

Work Hours and Benefits

- Required to work for a minimum of 30 hours per week

- Paid between $25 to $30 per hour

Other requirements:

• 12 Months of relevant work experience or Level 4 Qualification

• Available to work on weekends

• Good with managing time.

• Physically fit to stand for a longer duration

• Hardworking and passionate individual

• Attention to detail

• Excellent organisational skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
