Taxi Driver

We have full time opportunities for Taxi Drivers to work in Auckland. The position requires an energetic person who can start work early morning (from 6AM to 6 PM). You will be required to work for minimum 30 hours to maximum 50 hours as per roaster from Tuesday to Sunday. We are a friendly team of dedicated people to provide outstanding customer services to society.

Job Responsibilities:

• Transport passengers to different addresses and through different appropriate routes

• Follow mobile computer systems and time schedule.

• Complete & maintain logs and reports.

• Follow health & safety regulations and safety standards.

• Pick up customers safely & drop them off at their designated locations.

• Assisting clients with the loading and unloading of their baggage and other personal belongings, as needed.

• Process fare payments through eftpos machines

• Keeping vehicle always clean.

• Reporting to car groomers and maintenance when needing attention

• Starting and stopping the taximeter at the correct times.

• Adhering to road regulations.

• Ensuring that clients remain safe throughout the journey.

• Ensuring that the vehicle remains clean and in excellent working condition.

Other Requirement:

• To be successful you must have at least 1 year of work experience in driving role or minimum of at least Level 2 or higher qualification.

• A clean driver license of Class 1 is essential with no history of traffic violations

• Must be available to work at the weekends.

• Clean Character background

• Zero tolerance of alcohol and drugs in the workplace
