Technical Support Specialist
What Youll Be Doing | Mō te Tūranga As a Technical Support Specialist, youll play a crucial role in ensuring all NZTA vehicle certification requirements are met. Your responsibilities will include:
- System administration, maintenance, and development for Mobility, including IT systems and projects.
- Supporting new initiatives and driving continuous improvement to achieve business goals and growth of AA products and services.
- Managing the Quality Management System (QMS) and aligning NZAA Quality Assurance systems for recording all certification activities to meet NZTA requirements.
- Monitoring and maintaining NZTA regulatory information, ensuring staff access is up-to-date.
- Developing and distributing technical bulletins for Entry Certification and In-service Certification.
- Providing Vehicle Inspectors with day-to-day assistance and guidance.
- Assisting with the development of policies and procedures.
- Motor industry experience.
- Experience in a strong customer service culture.
- Experience with processes, systems, and ideally an appreciation of the vehicle-related services that the Association provides.
- A relevant Trade qualification and experience with a minimum of Trade Certification in Automotive.
- Knowledge of rules and regulations from NZTA and other regulatory bodies.
- Strong organisational and planning, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- A high degree of integrity and the ability to travel.
