About The RoleBased in Christchurch, you’ll provide warm, practical clinical leadership while still maintaining your own caseload. You’ll work closely with Service Leads, Team Leads and the Regional Manager to nurture a positive team culture, champion best practice, and keep our vocational services running smoothly across Canterbury.
At the heart of this role is a commitment to clinical excellence and doing the right thing. You’ll set the tone for high standards of care, ensuring decisions are grounded in evidence, ethics, and client‑centred thinking. You’ll support your team to deliver quality over shortcuts, encourage thoughtful clinical reasoning, and ensure every recommendation is made with the client’s long‑term wellbeing and sustainable outcomes in mind. Driving continuous improvement, reflective practice, and consistency across the region will be a key part of your impact.
This isn’t just about targets and policies (although you’ll be confident navigating those). It’s about raising the bar, empowering clinicians to do their best work, and ensuring every client receives care we’re proud to stand behind.

You’re an experienced, registered health professional with:Postgraduate study (completed or in progress) and active professional memberships required under ACC contracts will set you up well in this role.
