Senior Nail Technicians for a Shop in Palmerston North, NZ

We are currently looking for 3 Senior Nail Technicians who are attentive to skillful in nail art to join our team in our shop in Palmerston North, New Zealand.

What you do:

- Analyzing nail characteristics and advising on suitable nail cares to clients.
- Discussing client needs and preparing clients’ nails for enhancements involving chemical usage
- Performing manicures (buff, shape, and polish clients' nails) and spa pedicure (treat clients'feet and toenails)
- Painting designs and patterns onto nails
- Dipping powder on clients’ real nails and dipping powder with tip (extension)
- Massaging clients' hands and feet.
- Communicating to reach clients’ needs, ensure clients’ satisfactions.
- Training new and entry-level- staffs.

The right candidate:

• At least 2 years of relevant work experience as a Nail Technician or in a closely related beauty role, or a Bachelor's degree in any field may subsitute for a required relevant experience, or a relevant qualification equivalent to a New Zealand Level 4 Certificate.
• Ensuring that all treatments are carried out professionally and accurately at all times
• Good knowledge and use of chemicals for nail treatments
• Be flexible with client requests, be driven with creative thinking
• Bringing the heartiest principles to service offerings
• Ability to adapt, work in a multicultural workplace
• May work on weekends and public holidays
• Applicant must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand.

• Employment type: Full-time, Permanent, 30-40 working hours per week.
• Location: Palmerston North, New Zealand.
• Pay rate (Gross): $27.00 – $35.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
• Hours of work: rostered between Monday to Sunday, including weekend and public holiday.
