We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our kitchen team. About the Role:
We're looking for a skilled and passionate Cook to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in multi-cuisine cooking, with a focus on Tavern cuisine. This is a full-time position, offering 30-40 hours per week. We would like to create a fusion cuisine in the future, specifically fusion-style European, Indo
Chinese, bar food, and breakfast dishes.
Responsibilities
* Prepare, cook, and serve a variety of dishes, with a focus on menu cuisine, and add new dishes to the menu.
* Demonstrate proficiency in cutting techniques and food preparation.
* Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the kitchen, adhering to all hygiene and safety regulations.
* Follow all company policies and procedures.
* Communicate clearly with team members and management.
* Experience in preparing and handling takeaway food orders.
Minimum hours of work: 30-40 hours per week
Pay rate: $25 - $32 per hour
Requirements:
* Must have 2-3 years of experience OR a Level 4 or higher qualification in the relevant field.
* Proven ability to cook a variety of European, Indo-Chinese, bar food, and breakfast dishes.
* Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Ability to work well in a team
