We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our team in New Lynn, Auckland.

As an Automotive Mechanic, you will be responsible for the diagnosis, repair and maintenance of a wide range of vehicles, ensuring our customers receive the highest quality service.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting thorough inspections and diagnostics to identify and resolve mechanical issues
• Performing routine maintenance, repairs and servicing on vehicles including engine, transmission, brakes, suspension and electrical systems
• Communicating effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide expert advice
• Adhering to all safety protocols and workshop procedures
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation of work completed

• Utilizing electronic equipment and software for diagnostic purposes.
• Execute repair work and maintenance in accordance with dealership and brand specifications
• Adhere meticulously to checklists and uphold quality control standards
• Conduct test drives post-repairs to ensure impeccable performance
• Maintain top-tier productivity and efficiency benchmarks
• Stay current with mandatory factory training session

About You

• A qualified Automotive Technician
• A minimum of 3 years of experience within workshops, dealerships and franchises.
• Hold a valid and clean driver's licence
• Showcase exceptional problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills both verbal and written
• A strong focus on quality and service
• The ability to meet the physical requirements of the position
• Strong integrity, reliable and desire to achieve quality outcomes
• Able to work independently
• Strong safety awareness

• Up-to-date knowledge of vehicle technology and industry regulations
