The Role

Reporting directly into the Finance Manager within a specific portfolio of the business, you will manage the financial operations for multiple entities within the group. Your duties will include:

• Preparation of month-end including journals, accruals, inter company transactions, reports and reconciliations
• Preparation of monthly forecasts
• Preparation of GST, FBT
• Preparation and analysis of monthly profit & loss statements and balance sheet reconciliations
• Supporting monthly board reviews
• Assisting with annual budgets
• Review of payables, receivables and reports
• Fixed asset maintenance
• Assist with audit queries
• Ad-hoc duties as requested

Your Profile

We are looking for a Senior Assistant Accountant looking to take a step-up in their career, or a contract Accountant who possesses the following:

• Previous experience in an accounting role within the hotel or hospitality industry is highly preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and has good initiative under dynamic environment
• Intermediate excel skills and ability to pick up different systems
