Plan and oversee daily and weekly last-mile delivery operations to meet service and contractual requirements.Implement operational procedures and performance standards to manage fluctuating delivery volumes.Coordinate cargo handover and operational matters with upstream logistics partners.Monitor transport operating costs, including labour, fuel and vehicle maintenance, and provide cost-related reporting and recommendations to the Director.Oversee fleet readiness, including maintenance scheduling and vehicle allocation.Prepare operational and performance reports and recommend efficiency improvements.Manage and supervise drivers and delivery staff.Manage driver rosters, workload allocation and leave planning to ensure operational continuity.Monitor staff performance and make recommendations for training and recruitment needs.Ensure compliance with New Zealand transport legislation and Workplace Health & Safety requirements.Implement and monitor internal safety procedures and operational risk controls.

Requirements:

At least holding a Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or  Management or a related field， OR minimum of two years relevant work experience.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication skills for internal reporting and external liaison.

This is a permanent full-time position with a minimum guaranteed 40 hours per week, from $34.00 per hour to $45.00 per hour, depending on experience.
