About the roleThis position provides strategic and operational leadership for Council's library services, focusing on high quality, efficient and community-focused service delivery. As district library manager this role is responsible for managing libraries across the whole district as well as making sure service objectives are achieved within approved budgets. The role applies a community development approach to shaping programmes, services and improvements that strengthen community participation and access. You will also act as a trusted professional advisor, providing expert leadership and guidance to Council on library services and best practice.
