JP Tile Limited is company provide tiling services, house painting, carpet laying service based in Auckland, New Zealand.

They are now looking for 2 bricklayers to join their busy team.

 All the positions are full time with guaranteed minimum 30 hours per week.

Bricklayer ($25-30)

 The main job responsibilities include but not limit to:

 1.     Laying bricks, blocks, and pavers for residential and commercial structures, designs and shapes, and spreading mortar between joints.

2.     Studying plans and specifications to determine materials required, reading and interpreting architectural plans and technical drawings.

3.     Erecting and dismantling restricted height scaffolding.

4.     Lays building materials to construct or repair walls, partitions, arches, sewers, and other structures embedding blocks in mortar and removing excess mortar.

5.     Cut and shape bricks, blocks and tiles using machines and hand tools, and shaping bricks to fit irregular spaces.

6.     Repairing and maintaining bricks, cement blocks and related structures.

7.     Constructing walls using stone slabs and large masonry slab blocks.

8.     Collaborate with site managers, builders, and other trades to meet project deadlines.

9.     Ensure all work meets New Zealand Building Code (or relevant regional code) standards.

10. Maintaining tools and equipment, and keeping the worksite safe and tidy.

11. Other duties may be reasonable required.

To be successful, you will need to

1. NZQA Level 4 or above qualification or at least 2 years work experience in relevant position.
2. Confidence reading plans and working independently on-site.
3. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality finishes.
4. Has positive and willing attitude to learn.
