We are looking for a manager and waiting staff members for our cafe located in Lower Hutt, Wellington. All positions are full time offering at least 30 hours per week. 

Cafe Manager

Responsibilities include

·      Oversee the daily running of the cafe and supervise staff.

·      Monitor stock and order supplies when needed.

·      Set sales goals, track spending, and manage the budget.

·      Update prices and decide on special offers.

·      Handle payments and make sure money is safely deposited or given to the owner.

·      Work with the owner to keep financial records and balance accounts.

·      Prepare reports on spending and budgets.

·      Check accounts against the bank statement each month.

·      Complete daily and weekly sales reports for the cafe.

·      Resolve customer issues and communicate professionally with suppliers.

An ideal applicant must have at least two years of similar experience or an applicable college/university level qualification. 

Pay - $27 - $28 per hour

Waiting staff members/Customer service

Responsibilities include

Greeting guests, taking orders, serving food and drinks, handle payments, maintain cleanliness, and assist with opening and closing duties.

Hospitality experience will be an advantage.

Offered pay - $24 - $25 per hour
