T2T NZ Limited T/A Basmati's Indian Eatery is looking for one chef to work full-time in Christchurch.

T2T NZ Limited is seeking a full-time Chef to join their team in Christchurch. The position requires a minimum of 28 hours per week, with weekly payroll. The work schedule is rostered weekly and may include weekend shifts.

Location: Christchurch, New Zealand.
Wage rate: $23.00 to $ 24.00 per hour
Days Required: (Monday to Sunday).

Cook Job Responsibilities:
1. Preparing and cooking dishes according to restaurant standards.
2. Maintaining hygiene standards.
3. Cleaning and maintaining the kitchen premises according to the restaurant stander.
4. Assist Chefs to ensure a first-in, first-out food rotation system and verify all food products are properly dated and organized for quality assurance.
5. Keep the cooking station stoked, especially before and during prime operation hours.
6. Work with the chef to maintain kitchen organization.
7. Work in an orderly and disciplined manner in the kitchen during working hours.
8. Provide guidance to junior kitchen staff members, including food preparation, and dish plating.
9. Follow the food control plan provided.
10. Collaborate closely with other staff members.
11. Any other tasks delegated by the director or chef or duty manager to run day-to-day restaurant operations.

Cook Responsibilities:
1. Preparing South Indian and North Indian authentic cuisine dishes.
2. Must be able to design and deliver Indian food-style menu.
3. Applicant must have at least 5 years of relevant work experience in Indian cuisine.
4. A Bachelor qualification in cookery is compulsory.
