Job Title: Consultancy Project Manager

Location: Tauranga

This NZ owned and operated project management consultancy has built a strong reputation across the construction industry delivering high profile projects to both the public and private sectors. Key government sectors include health, education and wider social infrastructure, plus expertise in horizontal sectors including transport and water.

They are looking for an intermediate to senior level project manager with vertical project experience in PM consultancy, but horizontal experience will be considered.

Typically you will need to be able to:

• Establish the project through appointing consultants, producing feasibility studies, monitoring all statutory processes and advising on procurement options
• Project manage the construction phase, having responsibility for QA/risk, financial reporting, budget management/cost control, programming, defects list, remedial works and various project reports
• Manage stakeholders and conduct and/or chair meetings

As a project manager, you will need to come from a construction consultancy/client-side background with 5-8 years of NZ based experience. A tertiary qualification in Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, Building Science, or Engineering is essential. Leadership qualities, a tenacious attitude and passion for what you do are required.

Salary $135K - $160K + Benefits and outstanding career promotional opportunities.
