Impact Outdoors South Island Limited is seeking ONE reliable Fabricator. You will be required to work a minimum of 35 hours per week and maximum of 40 hours per week.
Daily Tasks and Responsibilities
· Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and fabrication plans.
· Cut, shape, and prepare metal components using hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
· Assemble metal structures such as canopies, frames, or other custom products.
· Perform welding operations (MIG, TIG, or ARC) to join metal components where required.
· Ensure all work meets New Zealand standards and safety regulations.
· Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and structural integrity.
· Maintain and operate fabrication tools and equipment safely.
· Collaborate with team members to ensure completion of work on time.
· Suggest improvements to fabrication processes to enhance efficiency.
Skills and Experience Required:
· Proven experience in metal fabrication, assembly, or welding.
· Ability to read technical drawings and measurements accurately.
· Knowledge of metalworking tools, machines, and welding techniques.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
· Physically fit and able to work in various environments.
Qualifications & Experience
- A minimum of 2–3 years of relevant work experience.
- Applicants must be New Zealand Citizens, Residents, or hold a valid work visa with the legal right to work full-time.
