We are seeking Builder's Labourers to support construction projects across Otago.We are seeking Builder’s Labourers to support construction projects across Otago. This role involves working on active construction sites, assisting tradespeople and site teams with general labouring duties.
Key duties include:

• Loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment
• Moving materials around construction sites
• Assisting with erecting and dismantling temporary structures
• Mixing, pouring, and spreading construction materials such as concrete
• Assisting trades with general construction tasks under supervision
• Using hand tools and power tools safely
• Maintaining a clean and safe worksite
• Following instructions and participating in Health & Safety toolbox meetings

Minimum requirements:

• A minimum of 6 months’ construction site experience, or the ability to demonstrate safe working practices on site.
• Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
• Basic ability to safely use hand and power tools
• Strong Health & Safety awareness
• Physically fit for manual labour
• Site Safe certification (or willingness to obtain before starting)

Role details:

• Pay rate: $25.00 – $28.00 per hour (depending on experience)
• Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week
• Location: Otago
