Autex Acoustics® was founded in 1967 by four British entrepreneurs from Huddersfield, Yorkshire, who ventured to New Zealand with an ambitious vision, to create something innovative and impactful—with the goal of one day bringing it back home to the UK.What began as a textile business has since evolved into a global leader in acoustic solutions, with operations across New Zealand, Australia, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Ireland. Today, that original vision has come full circle—Autex Acoustics is proudly established in the UK and Ireland, delivering sustainable, design-led acoustic products tailored for local needs.
Rooted in British innovation and shaped by global experience, Autex Acoustics creates designer products to positively transform people’s experience in the built environment. We aim to maintain our position as industry leaders through continual evolution of our products and thinking; providing our clients with a considered product suite and collaborative design support service.
The Autex Acoustics Design Consultant is a conduit between our clients, sales team and manufacturing teams. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as being adept at translating conceptual designs into production drawings for a range of manufacturing techniques.
