· Job Title: Draftsperson

· Location: Auckland, New Zealand

· Employment Type: Permanent Full-time

· Days Required: Monday to Friday

· Wage: 26 to 27 before tax

· Hours per week: A minimum of 30 hours a week guaranteed, a maximum of 40 hours a week

· Reporting To: Business owner

Key Responsibilities:

Preparing preliminary sketches, detailed drawings, plans and specifications in accordance with client requirements and project briefs

Interpreting architectural and engineering designs, regulations and applicable codes of practice

Preparing, editing and revising drawings and documentation as required throughout the project lifecycle

Assisting in project planning, documentation coordination and design development

Coordinating drawing packages and technical documentation with project stakeholders

Clarify design intent and technical requirements

Ensuring documentation complies with relevant standards, regulations and project specifications

Skills and Requirements:

• A relevant diploma or a minimum of two years of relevant work experience is required. (Either one will do)

• Experience in residential construction and renovation

• Ability to prepare drawings, layouts, and design documentation.

• Strong communication and coordination skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively with clients and construction teams.
