About the role
This is a full-time position as a Class 5 Driver with Fluidex Transport Limited, based in Christchurch. As a Class 5 Driver. This is an autonomous role and you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of dangerous goods
What you'll be doing
Operate a Class 5 vehicle in a safe and compliant manner
Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in proper working condition
Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, fuel usage and driving hours
Providing excellent customer service and liaise with clients as needed
Comply with all relevant road transport regulations and safety protocols
What we're looking for
A valid Class 5 driver's licence with a strong driving record
Current Dangerous Goods endorsement
Minimum 3 years of experience operating heavy vehicles in a commercial setting
Excellent time management and problem solving skills
Good communication and customer service skills
A smooth operator who can work autonomously
Ability to work 6 days per week
